Kiefer Lloyd (he/him) writes underdog stories that explore queerness and masculinity.

Kiefer is an award-winning writer named one of 2024’s Screenwriters to Watch by the International Screenwriters Association. He is a playwriting fellow with Lambda Literary and an alumnus of the Tin House Fiction Workshop.

Kiefer is the first playwright to adapt The Laramie Project since its landmark 2000 premiere. His new adaptation will be directed by Shane Dempsey (National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse) and is set to open in 2025 in Amsterdam, NL, where Kiefer lives and works.
